The Impressions of Humanity art project began in 2009 with artist Marcos Antonio.

Contemplating the transient nature of human life drove the project's inception. With over 8 billion people on Earth today, it is a stark reality that in 100 years, most of the individuals alive today will have passed away. Within just a couple of generations, most people become forgotten by history unless they are individuals of significant consequence who leave a lasting impression.

The project also draws inspiration from the remarkable ancient caves that contain handprints. The art itself offers a profound connection to our ancient past.

Building on this historical and existential reflection, "Impressions of Humanity" was conceived to unite people worldwide. The canvases, pictures, and documentaries of global participants created through the project will be exhibited in museums. This exhibition bridges the present and the past, allowing future generations' ancestors to encounter tangible documentation of their forebears.
